Dam! sorry, i really want u guys to hear my short story.
some of u guys know that my car was having a iractile idle problem. I couldnt find out what exactly the problem is but some people told it could be IAC,fast idle, or vacum leak.
I aslo thought about broken gasket, but i decided to take to honda and let them figure out. they told that the gasket on the SC need to replace and they want 350+ for that including labor. WTF? i paid 300 for the installed of the SC. I also doubt that the SC gasket is broken.
anyway, anyone had experience of a broken gasket of the SC? i never really hear anyone have problem with the SC gasket.
    Let me know guys.
    thanks

is it one of the gaskets on the blower itself,if it is i had the same problem with mine when i first had it put on the car,it came from jr that way,it cost $300 to get it fixed thats was after i paid $500 on the install, its real easy to take the jrsc off the car,ive done it about 3-5 times already,i just got the balls one day to take it off.i have a 00 civic ex,you can use permatex ultra grey for a gasket.

Boyd, you can pull the blower off without having to pull the whole intake manifold? I thought about trying that last summer but it didn't look like there was enough room in there to pull it out. I ended up pulling the whole intake manifold twice...I became a pro at it! Could you briefly explain how you did it? Thanks.

the guys that fixed my jrsc took the blower by itself and left the mainfold on the car,i had to take the whole thing off,i tried taking the blower seperate,i could not get it out,i unbolted the intake and throttle body, removed all the hoses in the way and removed the fuel rail, removed the blower belt, unbolted the mainfold bolts, disconnected the water bypass hoses,it came right off,you can get the gaskets from jr,my car idled really bad bewteen 2-3rpm's and whistled like a champ,i had a big time vac.leak from the gasket and injectors.

    Boyb, thanks for ur advice.
anyway, the gasket on the S tube to the blower seems easy to do by myself, but the one on the blower looks more tricky.
Do u actually know where can i get those gasket? Do i need to get it from JR?

And boyb, when ur gasket broke, did it make ur ilde flactuate bad?
    thanks
    help would be appreciated.
